I don't bet in these end of season tourneys very much but Gonzalez-Castano does stand out a bit this week.  I thought he would be about 16-1

A couple that stand out for me on the golf this week. I´m in the middle of a very bad run on the golf and had resolved to take an extended break from it. These two are way bigger than I´d expected though so I´m having a small interest.

Fernandez Castano 35-1 Course form, good performance last week, nice habit of going really low occasionally, multiple tour winner.
Thomas Aiken 40-1 Good performance last week, winner on tour this year, like ^^ has a habit of going really low occasionally which you usually need to win here.

Doesn´t look a strong field Kaymer aside, other than Kaymer (who is probably about right at 10-1) I think these two have as good a chance as anyone.

Would be interested to hear the thoughts of the good golf judges.

Backed Aitken for same reasons as you mentioned....and had little bit ew on freddie hed @ 80/1, who is largely inconsistent but capable and has some decent course form

Gonzo is a world-class ball-striker imo but his putting, especially under pressure has caused me to award him a double squiggle.

Interesting that he managed to kick on and get second yesterday when the winner had gone so no pressure.  Definitely showing all the attributes of a bottle merchant.

Definitely agree that there are concerns about his temperament and putting but I think backing him in all tournaments in Spain and Portugal will still be a winning proposition. I´m interested again this week, with Kaymer and Sergio taking up a big lump at the top of the market might get 40/1 or better.

Don't get me wrong, I've given him loads of chances even as recently as last year after he had some putting lessons from Olly and started to look a lot more comfortable on the greens for a while, but he always seems to revert to type under pressure. GL

Another frustrating day for Gonzo followers (or should I say follower), cruising along looking good for another very handy chunk of place money when he throws in a 7 at a par 4 having only dropped one shot in the previous 29 holes. Obviously goes Eagle, birdie as soon as he´s definitely out of contention.

Looked at the Presidents Cup teams and man for man I think USA are stronger. I thought they would be favourites but at worst the bookies have it as pick em and VC have them odds against. Starting to build up some cash on them. Anyone want me to put me off before I go too far?

The international team looks really strong, i think its priced about right, i couldn't have any confidence picking a winner.

Gonzo has a 3-shot lead going into the final round in Singapore but he can still layed @ 1.94

I'm tempted to steam into this in a modest way, I may do so later.

Gonzo is unreal!

Having squandered a 4-shot lead on the back nine he only goes and holes a 15-footer on the last green to get into a play-off.

It was a hell of a putt. Any idea what is going to happen now? Looking like a DH I guess, or will they come back tomorrow

Edit: Coming back tomorrow.

Coming back tomorrow apparently at the sponsor's behest.
