can someone explain the golden chip thing please?

If you got one from satting in and make the final, you get an extra 5k on top of whatever prize money you get........

There were golden chip online sats

All qualifiers from those "won" a golden chip

If they hit the final they win an extra £5k from DTD

Thus the bubble dynamics could be interesting.

geeged.

Pretty ridiculous day but I played really well so I can't feel too bad.

After I doubled up I picked up , opened to 550 at 100/200 getting one caller, flop came and immediately I think I'm gonna do my stack here. I bet 700, he clicks it back and I call. Turn is and I check-call 2k, river is and I check again and he jams for 4,725. Really wanted to fold but I there's too many hands that he can raise flop with and now be value-shoving. Anyway he showed .

Anyway, I drop back down to 10,000 and grinded it up back to like 17,000 again. I open in sb and bb calls, Flop comes J-4-4r, I bet 600, he flats. Turn is a K, I check and he bets 600, I call. River is an offsuit 3, I check again and he just snap-jams for 5k. No clue what he has here, probably should've folded but I was so confused I called and get shown A-4 for my trouble. Then lady at the table opens to 700 @ 100/200/25 with about 8,000 back. I just peel button with and we see a flop, she leads 700, I make it 2,200, she tanks then jams and I snap. She flips and hits turn and river.

Drop to about 5k and grind back up to about 7k at the break for 200/400/50 level, manage to get up to about 15k without a showdown, then go completely card dead and get 3bet off several hands. My table gets broken and have to spend 10 minutes deciding how the new one players, it looks tougher but then someone raise/folds 2,200 off an 8k stack at 400/800 and I don't feel so bad. Finally hijack shoves 14k at 600/1,200 and I snap in SB with , he has and obv flops the flush.

Cliffs: Played pretty well, ran like shit.

I'm going back to day 2 with a just-above-average 75.5k. Makes me around 40/111 by my reckoning. My stack had more ups and downs than the blackpool big dipper. Including losing half in the last level (AQ < AK), then pretty much doubling up when I fished a flush. Had blonde DavidF to my right for a lot of the day. It was him I sucked the flush out on, so I'm keeping my head down Smiley. He finished on 25k-ish I think.

Vast amounts of terribad play. The Golden Chippers on our table were ridiculously nitty. One didn't play anything worse than JJ all day, seriously. He folded TT to a shorty shove in the last level. Bonkers. Managed to get enough good hands to make it through though.

Oh, and Dewi is still in as well. 35k I think he said.

Made it to day 2. 165k, should have been more but I can't win a flip to save my life. Biggest hand of the night. 1200/2400 i make it 5.5k with    . 1 caller (who i had history with, he wasn't best pleased when i called him down with bottom pair and was good...) anyways. flop  two spades   I bet 5.5k, he flats. Turn  . I check. he bets 8k, i go 28k he jams for 65k, i have 85k behind and snap. He shows.  ... sigh. DEUCE on the river for a delicious boat.. Wiiiiiiiiiiiii.

GL all Blondes left in, wish i had a golden chip...

Is it just me or has anyone else lost interest in the tourneys at DTD since blonde stopped updating them?

Just spotted this update On the DTD site, looks like there is a link to facebook but I haven't looked.

http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/blog.php

Tighty's updates may be the best in the business but I sure know who I'd rather be interviewed by.
