I'm still struggling to work out how a skin can be nominated for best online poker room.

Stu, it wasn't meant to be a particularly "good" moment, just one of the notable moments of the year. You can't argue it wasn't a newsworthy moment of 2010.

Awards are now closed and thanks to everyone who voted. Obviously shortlists are always going to divide opinion, from the various merits of the candidates to whether one should have them at all, but the mag has never held one before and we thought it was high time. Anyway, check out the mag on March 17th for full results.

P.S. Willie is a LEGEND. End of.

How exactly do you win Personality of the Year?

If Negreanu helps two old ladies to cross the road and donates $200 to charity has he got a chance of having a better personality than Laak next year?

And Outstanding Contribution to Poker. What a load of old bollocks.

They contributed to making themselves a little bit richer in 2010 and several other players a good bit poorer.

They don't give a rats arse about "the good of poker"

Poker awards are stupid. Even though blondepoker won one.

This is great news for stoke circus , we were all happy to be in the vote and to come runners up behind dtd is a great credit to the work that all of our team are putting in and a great credit to the players who play to an impresive standard at stoke, thanks for all the votes and im sure that val , andy , katy and myself will keep up the hardwork in seeing that our cardroom is kept at such a great standard.
