just randomly discovered whilst dicking around on teh internetz at the same time as holding a pair of nailclippers that the top left corner of the casing surrounding the screen on one of my lappys is a really strong magnet. then found that on my other one the magnet is along the top, just right of centre. this is pretty cool as I can now stick metal stuff on there to amuse me but what's it actually for?

I'm happy with that answer as I have no idea if a transformer should be hot or cold

Don't ruin it, it's a Transformer.

Makes sense, Megan Fox features a lot on my laptop.
