I'm the worst with BR management.. but $120 avg buyin on 25k roll seems abs fine to me, doesn't really matter if you play 5 or 25 tourns a night

This, especially if you stick to tournies tat don't have ridic fields. 100-200 runners sounds fine.

Cheers amatay lookignto hopefully push on in these shot taking days so that the shots i am taking now will no longer be that!
Got a big big grind on tonight and i have incorporated 4 new tournies from pokerstars to see how that flies a 20 1r1a 35k gtd, $55 90k gtd, $55r 50k gtd and the $162 65k GTD. Gonna have a feel of what the competition is like in these before perhaps including them in a regular grind.
16 tournaments tonight. Not prepared properly for this grind, just had a massive dominos but feel fine regardless. Should have gone gym aswell to have me buzzing but hopefully i will bink regardless. Lets do this!

so gutting i went out in 4th with KK in the sb with 12 bbs. I flat call, bb shoves all in with 58 i insta call. He gets his straight on the turn and game over for me and i get $2.8k. So sick as first was $10k. I tell you what though i made loads of mistakes and i was chip leader for such a long time. I really need to sort my routine out and make sure i go to the gym because that really does get the craziness out of me. So frustrating but nevertheless it is a £1200+ night and things are ticking along quite nicely.

Hey Ant - I'm David Cool to rail others progress in this kind of endeavour, obvious GL's etc Can i ask some kinda personal questions tell me to gtfo if you dont wanna answer im just interested ! how old are you? how long you been playing full time for? how did you build your bankroll initially? Also, I dont play MTT's so couldn't accuratley comment, but most of my best mates and my flatmate play HS MTT's full time and Im pretty confident $25k is HUGELY underolled for av buyin of $120, I would guessitmate ~$100k would be an acceptable roll for that level, but don't quote me but if you're taking shots you're taking shots so lots of run good please!!!

i think you two are missing the point of that i am playing mtts with less than 200-300 runners where i can and playing 12 tables a time and often about 30 tourns a night. This limits the variance completely so i think $25K is a good bankroll for these games. If i was to be playing 1000+ mtt's i would need a lot more but i would never do that anyway i would rahter shoot myself in the face and watch as the blood trickle to the floor as i lay dying. Also the tourns i play i have developed a very good strategy for and see myself often winning tournaments late on taking advantage of some good know how and balls.
The rate i have been going at since i have turned to outlaying £1000 a night is to be making £2000 a night in the last 8 days i have been playing. I hope the trend continues as i would be a happy bunny.
On the front of how long i have been playing its been 3 and a half years now and been playing seriously for the past year. I am 21, I am not full time, I am a student of History and plan to get a 2:1.
Frustrated not to get the 10K for first tonight but hey ho maybe next time hey

you said that you think you are rolled for the games you are playing and you are playing $2k anight with a $25k roll so what do you do if you go on a 10 losing run? $25k is a nice roll to go to vegas with and crush the venetian deepstack with very soft game
