OK I'll bite on this one seeing as how I've been betting on soccer for the past 30 years

My three main bets for the New Year Fixture list all on ther Asina Hcap Markets are:

Aston Villa +0.75 gls Home to Arsenal at odds of 2.10+
Dundee Utd +1.5 gls away to Rangers at odds of 1.95+
Reading -0.5 gls away to Derby at odds of 2.00+

Fill your boots and don't come crying to me or try breaking my legs if they go wrong because I'll be on a flight out of the country the following day;-)

On Feb 13th I shall return to London and be staying for 1 day before flying on to the USA 14 Feb and hopefully you will all have forgotten about breaking my legs by then;-)

Whether the soccer picks win or not I don't know but I certainly have had lumpy bets on all three as I make the true/fair hcaps;

Aston Villa +0.21 gls
Dundee Utd +0.77 gls
Reading -0.91 gls

Alas I shall be in sunnier (you know where that great big yellow warm circle dangles up high above in the sky) climates on the other side of the world.

.................amd I very much doubt I'll be thinking of any of you lot back home in these freezing conditions.

(BTW I fully accept I am a very delicate southern softie when it comes to these arctic conditions when compared to you hardened eskimos north of the border).

Dundee Utd have a good recent record against Rangers who are struggling anyway.

Reading are playing well so should be ok.

Villa Huh? Wouldn't back them with Ironsides money.

Could someone explain Asian Handicap betting?

Basically you put a monster monster bet on, and if it looks like it is gonna go down they have someone at the match to blow up the generator so the floodlights fail and you get your money back Cheesy
