My only thoughts is that here our villain seems to be polarised to either a TEN or an airball.

A high = ahead of airballs

I cant see people ever normally turning A high into a bluff here so if you think he's bluffing a decent % why not just call the flop

i honestly thought my hand was way behind anything
i honestly thought he could only continue in hand with a T
i honestly though he didnt have one of them
i honestly thought i could buy the pot

i thought wrong 4 times

if i thought he was bluffing best way to to win hand was to get him off i thought

what can he possibly be bluffing with that beats you?

I agree though a decent amount of the time he's gonna have some equity even when he's bluffing so could be a lot of merit to taking the pot down there and then if you have a super strong read

I still prefer a call though Smiley and I do realise this wasnt the point if the thread, sorry to derail Smiley

no your points are valid

i spent the whole wekend trying to work out why he shoved at the end with no FE and no hand

hands he could be bluffing with that i could get to fold 33-99 AK-AJ that was range i had him on all beating my A6 but foldable but then again if he is shoving with a4 maybe they werent foldable

watching everyone laughing at me as i had finally been caught bluffing in a big pot at i reluctnatly put the last 1900 in then the laugh on other foot when i was ahead and even bigger laugh on river

i just cant see how he can shove there knowing i have to call, unless he had read me for air (ok i was on air but not that weak )
