yes i dont know how much it costs for blonde to be at dtd but the benefits to both parties are massive. i cant see any draw backs at all other than the financial aspect were obv the team need paying a wage and rob not being able to afford this (joke obv). my wife would be the first person to chuck some beans into the pot to have blonde covering the deepstack so then 1. she knows where i am and at what time i should be home. and 2.  how much she has to spunk on internet shopping as she is on 50% as my manager. usually has to twist my ears before i tell her how much i actually cashed but i wil continue to keep trying to grim her

I've said on thread after thread

DTD don't want to pay for them, which is fair enough, having done so for 18 months which was great and enormously appreciated

We would love to do them, but can't afford them

For DTD Deepstacks:

One person for two days including a modest wage, hotel and travel is £350 or so

Two people, assuming shared hotel room £600-650

I've done several updates (DTD Grand prix, DTD UKIPT, GUKPTs) voluntary but its trickier and trickier to do this. After a while it becomes the "norm", and that's not a particularly comfortable situation to be in

I agree the benefits to both parties from updating the DTDs are huge. I think the event itself suffers a bit without the updates in terms of profile, PR and "noise". Two overlays in a row now and blonde could have helped in avoiding those. blonde of course would benefit from traffic, new members and a busy forum on the deepstack weekend

I'd take any donations for blonde, straight into the company bank account, from benefactors and put them towards future updates, just PM me. Ideally instead of this we can earn the money, or partner with sponsors, who will help with costs and I am talking to several people to achieve this for updates in 2011 whether they be GUKPT, DTD, UKIPT etc

surely we could get 140 peeps to donate £5 a month via standing order, to fund these, I must admit I really miss them, and would happily give a fiver a month, anyone else?

good luck all blondes left.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

The numbers at dtd have def been affected by the lack of updates on here imo since they disappeared.  Give it a couple of months of more overlays and the powers that be will realise the benefit of the updates versus the cost of another overlay.  FWIW i think the updates benefit DTD much more than they do blonde.  I know several people who dont play the sats for the £300 anymore because they know their mates wont be able to follow them should they bink a seat.  Sounds sad but a lot of small players like their 10 minutes of fame if they play an event miles out of their bankroll i guess.

DTD have said in the past that they're happy to accomodate any updates blonde wish to do. Think Nick W posted in the DTD thread a while back.
