DTD will be live streaming with chat box alongside and updates. The blonde updates would be as is. I don't want to lose the updates on here and DTD are happy to have them. Having established that, other things are being discussed which I can fill you in on privately, at the moment

i wont know if its done any damage until speaking to Rob himself. its a rock and a hard place situATion  and taking either side would not solve anything. if you think it has done damage then maybe you would have been better off stepping in earlier and expressing your views and then it may not have escalated in the way it did. i for one listen to you and feel like i'm being told off by my dad when we converse. i only asked tighty because he is the man on the ground with his finger on the pulse as it were.

You are correct. I should have stepped in, & stopped it, & I very much regret that I did not. I became mesmerised by the whole thing, like watching a car crash, & even now, I don't know why I never stopped it. I blame nobody but myself.

Sometimes, two "impossibles" collide, & when they do, a little lateral thinking is necessary, which seemed beyond most.

We all knew - as a fact - that ALL parties involved were wholly honest, & possessed total integrity in the matter. Therefore the solution HAD to be that a misunderstanding had arisen somewhere along the line. That was evident from the very first Post. Instead, all that mud-throwing went off, & no parties emerged blameless. I had numerous PM's about it, & replied identically to all - "it's bang obvious a misunderstanding has arisen".

In these "enlightened" times, common etiquette appears to whoosh most, times have changed.

We need to remember that blonde do NOT have a God given right to do DTD Live Updates, we have that concession just as long as Rob chooses to allow it. It's highly unlikely that the blonde Live Updates generate much commercial gain to DTD. It's a big mistake to take anything for granted.

Even now, I'm not sure why I never intervened, but I did not, I just did not want the hassle, I guess. Add it to the "regrets" list.....page 93.

Not beating myself up, it's just a squabble on a poker Forum, but as you suggested I should & could have intervened, I replied as I felt. That's not to say I take the whole blame for the thing, others have blame, too.

I didn't mean for that thread to cause any damage to your relationship with DTD - I was unaware it had until I just read this thread.

The views in that thread were mine (and the others who said their piece) but I was in no way representative of the official 'Blonde Opinion' and didn't think I would jeopardise a relationship for updates which I sometimes contribute to.

I'll call you when you get back from Vegas. I stand firm on what I said in the thread but apologise to you/Tighty/Demps for causing any bad blood that you didn't need to deal with.

As stated elsewhere

Intending to live update the DTD Monte Carlo (4 days) and the DTD January Deepstack (3 days)

Currently about £150 away from being able to do the Monte Carlo (including staying with a friend to avoid hotel exes, anything to help get the update done), and assuming I will raise some at that event for the £500 deepstack update to happen

It's Xmas, so I know its cheeky to ask, but if you would like to help, let us know

Caroline knows the amount we can pay her, the cheaper she arranges the accomodation for, the more she keeps after the expenses!

The Village is nice,I  know some good b and b's. Caroline's call what she is after

Any ideas on getting a long term sponsor for updates. I follow most live feeds and updates and without doubt blondes are second to none. I'm pretty sure that for the sake of a few quid we willbe able to keep em going from community donations but for how long it can go on for I have no idea.

There is one option on a list of possibilities going forward that would include update funding, but that would have to be part of something larger that was right for blonde, rather than just the updates alone.

That aside, its month by month according to amounts of donations

I'm prepared, and have done on several occasions this year, to keep the updates going wherever possible by doing an update for whatever sum is available but that comes at a bit of a personal cost (no free weekends, working for beans) so I would rather they were properly funded and I could use a variety of updaters, paid the going rate, as I won't ask them to work for little after expenses
