I think some of the false drama has been taken away. John and Gregg appear to be acting much more naturally. Encouraging contestents when they're doing well, telling them off when they're not, and generally being more honest about things. Even the elimination today wasn't as drawn out as it could have been. They had 5, and just started out by saying the two they were getting rid of.

The various shots of Gregg eating his puddings were funny too Smiley

Only one episode per week now it would seem Sad

Enjoyed tonights. I liked the fact that a non-masterchef hq task had some sort of outcome on who got eliminated.

I know this is Masterchef Australia but I've only just started watching it.

However, holy shite at this "celebrity chef's" knife skills!

Like I said:

I hope they bring over the chef who chops like he's Jackie Chan then. That was awesome.

Final tonight Cheesy

Who does everyone think will win?

My money is on Tim, as long as whatever wacky concoction he comes up with actually works. The other two are good but there's nothing that stands out about them imo.

Fair result imo.

Best quality final of Masterchef eve. All three were great cooks.

Yes - for once I couldn't decide between them. Great cooks all of them, they made food out of things I wouldn't normally eat in such a way I would have given them a go.

An excellent final.

All 3 produced top quality food.

Tim was still the clear winner though imo. Since day 1 he's been the best in my eyes and nothing has really happened to alter that view. The other two are undoubtedly excellent but throughout the competition Tim has been the one to stand out. And that didn't change tonight.
