It's been a while since I've put in an online session and in about 24 hours I'm going to have the perfect opportunity.

I'm boarding a plane at 22.00 US time to fly back to LHR landing 9 hours later. This gives an approximate 8 hour window to play some pokerz to pass some time and maybe bink a few quid in the process.

I'm looking to play around 10 random tourneys of any stake I see fit. These are likely to be $50 up to $162 if there's one available. I have no idea what's going to be available at the time so can't put together an accurate schedule. I will have a maximum of 6 tables at any one time because that’s all I can handle on my laptop.

I'm proposing to put in around $350 and I'm looking for stakers to match this on a 1:1 basis.

Shares are available in 5% chunks at $17.50 per chunk.

If the total invested doesn't reach $700 the unused share will be returned.

If I go slightly over I'll put that bit towards but not alter any % shares.

This is a stake that may or may not go ahead depending on a couple of factors:

1 - The plane I'm going on obviously needs to have wifi available. If not it's off and all stakes will be returned.

2 - I need to be able to access stars / FT from the plane. I understand that there may be restrictions because of US laws. Again if I can't get on all stakes will be returned.

One important thing. I will have to be careful what I register because of finishing times. Obviously about 30 mins before landing I’m going to have to switch off. I may throw in a few turbos if the time doesn’t look good for playing normal comps.

If I happen to have a deep run and have miscalculated and look like having to switch off whilst still playing I will get on blonde and get someone to take over. I’ll be careful what I select so this shouldn’t be a problem but accidents do happen so I accept no responsibility if I fuck up and lose us thousands due to an air hostess making me switch off my laptop.

In case anybody’s wondering battery power won’t be a problem. I have 3 batteries with a combined use of around 12 hours with wifi enabled.

Feel free to check my OPR or sharkscope. Neither are impressive but I’m confident that I have the potential to bink something if I get better hands than all the other players.

Feel free to flame. I’m sure you all know I don’t care and that any criticism will be like water off a duck’s back.

If I don’t sell out I may play a cheaper schedule but still aim for 10 comps on a 50:50 basis. If it’s close I might just put in a bit extra myself.

Updates will be on blonde as and when I get the chance.

Transfers to evilpie on either stars or FT if you wish to participate.

Thanks

Not trying to put a downer on it but have you played poker on a plane before? The latency of the satellite link is quite likely to have you timing out on every other hand.

Who you flying with and from which city to which city?

Apparently on some but not all Delta flights. Might be wrong though. Will find out pretty soon.
