Anyone done a wine tasting weekend in Bordeaux?

Gfs birthday coming up, looking for weekend break- wine tasting obv is a must, excellent food etc

Not done the wine tasting, but Bordeaux is one of my favourite cities - lovely place, great people. Years since I've been, think I'll need to go back some time.

but Bordeaux is one of my favourite cities - lovely place, great people.

This, Bordeaux is loverly ..have only done wine tasting in the South...not my kind of things TBH so couldn't tell you if it's good or not.

nothing to do with bordeaux or in anyway helpful to the thread, but i'd love one day to follow the trail those guys did in Sideways.

My Dad is an absolute wine fanatic.
Spent every Summer bar one in France growing up. Always stop of in Beaune, Reims, or somewhere in Burgundy on the way to the South of France.
Think he used to booze cruise it with mates to Bordeaux as its the other side of the country to Provence but if nobody else can give you any info I'll ask for some reccomendations from him.
