sigh - this is looking like it's going to get expensive!

mangos are 50p each in morrissons. everywhere else charges 2 quid each

price of mangoes hadn't even really occurred to me - more the other stuff - alcohol, balsamic vinegar etc that i'll need to buy a whole bottle of to use a little bit of.  I'll price it up once i've got a recipe in mind, but bearing in mind that i'm just cooking for myself if it looks like it's going to be more than a tenner or so i'll probs sit it out.

I'll buy the bottle and you have a lend...

we use a lot of it!

Ha- Hakkasan serve mango with their duck in slices like that- thats where nicked the idea from, honestly if you roast it like a Joint of meat and then slice it, the juices stay in the pineapple and its so good with Gammon

OK here we go.  apologies for blurriness.

First just the steak and chips, followed by the freshly cut steak, then with all the extras.

This is not so bad. Thick frites and some good meat. Is rosbif rustic. What is this sauce?

Then I see these petits pois, once they grey SF say no way.
