Any info on how Alex got hold of all those chips?

From what I've seen it involved a lot of him making people fold!

Having asked him though he says it was from luckboxing a 3 way.. apparently he had a set of sixes on a q 5 6 board against Terry Mitford's Aces and another player with 2 pairs, both of whom paid him off.

Okay Chip counts going back after the break include

Alex Martin is chip leader with 143, 525.

Are those cougar-points or chips?

and the prospect of playing to the end of Level 11 or 2am ish

Lovely to play in, I suspect but a challenge to update!

Anyway I am back, and I am off exploring for news.

In disastrous news I missed the buffet

John Prested Whollyflush has just departed.

Nathan Lee opened, John shoved his 7k in with KJ, next player raises to 15k, original raiser Nathan goes allin with KK, John is out, 63 players left now.

Prince Harry is also out, no hand details sorry.

Some chip counts

The atmosphere here is somnolent. The strucuture is a challenge, of patience and concentration

Nathan Lee 105,000

Dean Morris 60,000

Paul Garnham 56,000

Tim Blake 55,000

Edna Adams 45,000

Steve Watts 120,000

Steve Kirk 65,000

Alan Stearn 80,000

Jason Clarke 65,000

Sinem Melin is out

Graham Pound 90,000

Average is 56,500 and blinds are 150-300/25

Handbags at dawn on table 3 where Alan Stearn apparently checked out of turn and was taken to task by gary Cooper, who felt that if he had a one round penalty for betting out of turn, Alan should also get the same for checking out of turn. Alan didn't agree and made his feelings known to Gary quite loudly.

George agreed and Alan now sits out for one round, with steam coming out of his ears.

Gary Cooper doing a lot of talking as well as betting out of turn and calling rulings.

Just caught a river on a board of 2 4 7 10 10

Gary telling Sonny Franco, who a. can't hear a thing through his massive headphones that allow anyonne standing next to him to hear his music choice and b. possibly doesn't speak any English, "I should be raising here son, I really should, but because I'm nice I'll just call"

Turns over his K10 for trip 10s, as Sonny flips his Ace 10 and takes the pot.
