They seemed to have changed the format from Nottingham where they tried to play from 212 players down to a final(ending up with 12) on day two and effectively turning it into a short-handed tourney by playing the whole day with a maximum of eight players per table which meant that most of the tables were either six or seven-handed a great deal of the time.
In Manchester they have played down from 175 to 52 on day two, do they have an extra day here?

The list has Gregior finishing 78th but also still in with 36000.
Am I wrong to assume he's out?

I don't know
I think the list of exits is more accurate, as the current chips shows a number of players recorded as "out" on the other page, ie its not up to date

Out Keith yes.
9.20pm: Three quick exits
It's perhaps not total post-bubble carnage but there have been three quick exits with Jamie Coles, Gregory Howard and Steven Arundel all out for the minimum cash. -- NW

often in live poker you find people scared of loosing too the point where they dont pay too much focus on actually winning...
s'good though, means you can rep absolutely nothing, and then just bet lots of money and make em tank fold stuff people call you within 6seconds with on the internet
having said this a local fish who loves to make big folds flicked a £225 river call in with Qhigh vs me the other day lol

2.08pm: Bedi doubles
Rupinder "George" Bedi is up to 250,000 after doubling through his neighbour Gary Fisher. Bedi opened to 14,000 from the cut-off moved all-in after Fisher three-bet to 42,000 from the button. If Fisher called off all but 60,000 of his chips but soon found he was dominated.
Bedi: J♠J♦
Fisher: A♥J♥
The board ran 7♠Q♦9♣5♣7♥. Bedi breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed back into his chair. -- MC

Latest chip count now shows him on 400k.... go go go go go

Ben Spraggons United Kingdom PokerStars qualifier 30000
spraggs on blonde
thanks, should have guessed that!
I didn't make Day 3, (or the money for that matter) Was on Jaff Cakes table, and ran AK into AA button v SB, with 86 left, shame it wasnt the bloke who folds them ay!
Stars messed up with my Player ID # from the go, probably because i turned up on 1b when i should have been in 1a (durhh) and got sat down late.
Was on BrummieBoy's table (i think, Nash right?) at start of Day 2, seemed nice chirpy bloke, compared to my miserable self anyway, GL to you today, and all other Blondes left in.

4.10pm: Bedi straightens out Nash
I noticed that Rupinder Bedi's stack had increased to around 650,000 and asked him what happened: "I called with J♥T♥ from the small blind after Paul Nash had opened. The flop was A T 8♥ with one heart. He c-bet, I called, the turn was the 9♥ given me an open ended straight flush draw. We both checked and an off-suit queen came on the river to give me a straight. I led for 101,000 and he called as he'd rivered two pair with A Q . Nash is down to around 350,000. -- NW
