Objection

Yorkshire pudding is a beef dish component, never lamb

Fail!

Considered at time of marking...overrulled..In Yorkshire we have Yorkshire pudding with anything..stew, chicken, lamb...shall we move on

However Yorskhire is but one minor county in the British Isles

I ask you to reconsider and suggest that in the vast majority of the country Yorkshire puddings are not serrved with Roast Lamb

Objections to anything found on the plate.

Thought about it....Over ruled

Any More

err why?

You say served WITH a roast lamb dinner. You're not asking for part of a roast lamb dinner. So stuff such as mint sauce, pepper, wine, etc is fine. They are served as accompinaments to the dish without being part of the dish itself.

With does not mean at the side of....

Still overruled

Why have you failed lamb then?

Objection

Different types of potatoes are a whale answer - Redic..cooked differently

Objection

Roast Potatoes not traditionally served with lamb - I don't believe the word traditional was used

Objection

Sheep scores should be lambs - Good point, should have been here 30 mns ago when I was having a spreadsheet breakdown

thanks

A potato is a potato, however cooked

I ask you to reconsider, and whale these similar answers

An egg is an egg no matter how cooked..however the cooking changes the outcome

Still Overruled

but you are wrong. The key issue here is the base food not the cooking style

I must insist you re-consider. It is most distressing.

But potatoes, carrots, etc are the roast lamb dinner. You didn't ask for things served with roast lamb. You asked for things served with a roast lamb dinner.

Why?

I must respectfully disagree. I don't think lamb is a fail, personally

have to agree with CF here.  you didn't say 'served with lamb in a roast lamb dinner', so therefore you either have to fail everything that comes on the plate, or let the lamb through.  let the lamb through, obv.
