Don't see how they can do that.  There are complications over the final table chop/ did he play any other games/ tournies etc. 

I'd like to know what stars standard procedure is for this situation.  I'd guess that they just keep the money.

Ummm I would have thought the fact there was a chop makes it easier to split the money up.

I do wish you wouldn't rush so agressively to defend stars at any opportunity.  I questioned what their normal procedure was - do you know?  Offering odds about what they will do in this situation doesn't answer that question.

I don't think he should get away with it. And he should have the money taken off him. But he's 17, he's not hurt anyone, he hasn't cheated (in terms of colluding or ghosting etc etc) and it has to be heartbreaking for him. You have to be a bit cold to not feel for him imho.

As soon as I hit 30 I turned into a right miserable bastard and instantly hated anyone younger than me, I honestly dont feel sorry for him. He knew the rules, if he had any common sense at all he should have known Stars were incredibly hard to pull the wool over especially when he is bragging on a forum as himself. Also serves him right for being greedy during the chop negotiations.

I know Barry. Im not condoning it. However Im sure when we were 14-17 we all did things we not supposed to do- drink, smoke etc etc. He obv didnt expect to bink- probably pad his micro roll a bit and suddenly its all out of control and he is at the final.

Rules are rules. I agree with the fact that stars have taken his money but I also feel sympathy for this guy.

I just think it silly how we have to have rules and regulations when the prizes and outlay are getting so high and yet everyone thinks hes being hard done by for playing underage..... the rules apply to everyone (or at least they should, it's a shame that this industry has always been so shady that it can continue to have so much dodgyness and people see it as normal).
