IMO stars should hold a freeroll open to all those who played the tourney, I know this would not appeal to all, though essentially it is the players pool to play for.

On a side note, stars should sign the kid up for 6 - 12 months once he hits 18, I am sure this would create a fair bit of interest! Lessen the blow for the kid and stars come out shining as per.

If I was clever enough to be crushing this game then I would hope to be clever enough to play without being found out as being under aged.

I don't really see how he's cheating. He shouldn't have been playing, but that's not neccesarily the same thing as cheating. eg, playing for a U18 sports team when you're actually 20 - yeah, cheating as it's presumably an unfair advantage. But I don't see what advantage a 17 yo has in a poker game.

Ivey and Annette have cool stories about how they played when they were underaged, no-one has said when they hear the "no-home jerome" stories of Ivey when he was skinning businessmen in Atlanta casinos at 19 "fucking hell,  what a cheating little prick playing underage" everyone is like, "wow, what a sick degen go ivey" (myself included fwiw) and annette is pretty proud of the time she was playing ONLINE poker at 16 and won a 45man without seeing her hole cards, no one has said "well that's all well and good but how come you were playing when you were 16 you cheating slag?"

I get tittybeams point cant argue with it, but the whole thing seems criminally injust and it makes me feel shit for the kid
