Jon Spinks opens to 2,300

Sam Grafton 3 bets to 5,400

folded to Guy Steel in the big blind who shoves 35,000

Spinks re-shoves

Grafton folds

Spinks K-K

Steel A-K

Kings hold, Steel is out and Spink moves into contention with over 100,000

Sida Yeun and Anthony Kennedy 170,000 each

before the break this was how Yeun got there

Spinks Spanked

Jonathon Spinks calls off half his stack, 15.5k to Sida Yuen with the board looking summat like 9d2d9c9hAc.  Sida has his same ol' same ol' Q9.  Spinks left with 15k.  .

that's from the GUKPT Blog

Praz Banzi has moved right up there. Stack approaching 100,000 now. Lots of progress since he moved down to the Louise Duffy, Jon Young, Rob Sherwood table. Didn't see the hand but Banzi did for Sherwood

and this is how. Sherwood took Aces against Banzi's Pocket Fives. Five on the flop

and the final catch up

Spinks 15k at the break

Here is his treble up

3 way all in....

Jon Spinks.....A-Q
Kamal Choria..A-9 of spades
Manig Loeser..A-K

The flop comes 8 high with 2 spades, giving Kamal the nut flush draw.

The turn comes a Queen putting Jon infront.

The river was a blank.

Jon Spinks trebles to 50,000.

Kamal heads out!!

then the hand with Kings to go to 100,000

right, back out there...

I gather Rob Sherwood had the Aces, & Praz had the Fives. Which were good.

The day has just turned slightly surreal

Rosemary Bentley calls me over

I don't know Rosemary

"I'd like a tea and a glass of water please"

"Sorry" I reply, hiding my high dudgeon "I don't work here"

"Oh" she says, surprised "I thought you were a waitress, sorry I mean waiter"

Toby Lewis knocks out David Shotton

Shotton shoved Q-J off short, Lewis called in the big blind with A-8 and won his 90-10% shot

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gregory Haik knocks out Paul Kerr

Kerr had mucked when I got there but the board read  and Haik had shown  so lets assume that was conclusive.

The quiet Haik has a big stack, over 100,000

Darren Annis doubles through Sam Grafton... All in pre... A-A v K-K..

Sam down to 15k, Darren up to 60k.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rob Topp knocks out Andrew Teng to go over 60,000

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dave Barnes with the garrulous voice that sounds like a car going over a stony drive, is out

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sida Yuen knocks out Jeff Hefferman

A-J v 5-5 for a 30,000 pot

This is hardly a flip the way Sida is running today, and indeed the Jack comes

Toby Lewis is out

An assortment of bloggers, pens, paper and microphones in hand descended on the table in the latter stages of the hand as the pot got big

Anyone would think Toby had won something somewhere once

I arrvied slightly out of breath in time to peer across and see his opponent Gary Lindsay shows Jacks to win the pot on a 2-5-10-K-3 board. Toby mucks

Lindsay was small blind, Toby in early position so lets piece together that Toby raises, Lindsay 3 bet and it went from there

Left with less than a big blind Toby got it in with Q-1O against Q-2 and the door card was a 2
