 meant laxie was  a superstar here  dave...not phil although i have a little respect for the guy who has done so much for poker. i like the devilfish too but he seems to have fun poked at him by the online community too

total of 773 players paid the €5,000 to play the main event of EPT Berlin, 315 on Day 1A and 458 on Day 1B. They combined to create a prize pool of €3,865,000 from which the top 120 will be paid. The winner after Sunday's final table will win a first prize of €825,000.

Here's a run down on how that will be divided:

1st - € 825,000

2nd - € 500,000
3rd - € 300,000
4th - € 230,000
5th - € 180,000
6th - € 140,000
7th - € 100,000
8th - € 66,000

9th and 10th - € 45,000

11th and 12th - € 36,000

13th and 14th - € 28,000

15th and 16th - € 23,000

17th to 24th - € 20,000

25th to 32nd - € 17,500

33rd to 48th - € 15,000

49th to 72nd - € 12,500

73rd to 96th - € 10,000
