PM me your answers by midnight on Monday 11th April.

Please put RSQ 52 in the subject header and give the corresponding number for each question with each answer.

The reveal will take place at 8pm on Tuesday 12/04/2011 on this thread.

Your score for each question is the number of people who give the same correct answer. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score.  If you score the only ACE (an ace being a correct answer which no-one else submits) in any round, you will receive MINUS 1 points for that round.

You are not allowed to do research such as using Google to come up with answers, and you are not allowed to ask others for help with your answers.  Remember, you are only cheating yourself (and your illustrious peers).

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + 5 points

You may pass on one, and only one, question and you will receive a score of 0 for that question.

All entrants will be treated equally fairly/harshly ( even the person who failed my cannelloni answer to the question about naming a food with a hole in it despite the fact that cannelloni is a tube),  and the rules will not arbitrarily change.

The questions.

1. The name of a footballer who played for England in the 1966 world cup final versus Germany.

2. A famous crime fighting duo.

3. A singer/band that has represented the UK at the Euro-vision song contest.

4. A Christmas pantomime.

5. From Dads Army the name of someone from the Warmington-on-sea home guard platoon.

6. A Walt Disney film released before 1970.

7. A common site on the body for a piercing.

8. A team sport that has between 2 and 11 members in it.

9. An edible nut.

10. An actor who has played the role of James Bond in a film.

Hector - THAT is a proper RSQ.

Quick question, what happens if someone scores the only Ace in a round, the only reason I ask...

Excellent questions. Isn't this about the tenth quiz that someone has had to title 'Back to Basics'?

In researching the questions i found i could name all of the England world cup winning team bar one. I predict that, should he enter, Tightend will chose the man I couldn't remember.

p.s What is the lowest number of entrants there has ever been?

Not sure, but you won't even come close to competing for that record.  We just like to wait until the very last minute to submit answers.  All about causing the most stress possible for the QM.   Cheesy
