How should one go about getting their money out to vegas if that isn't a dumb question?


is it relatively easy to get cage info from the casinos and bank transfer that way?! it's 10k$us in cash that you can take in right? I am a newb. ty

You can take any amount in - you just have to declare it if it's $10k+

Depends what your taking tit - if c$20k I'd just take and declare, no big drama - if secuirty worries you talk to Casino

Also check limits on ATM, I upped mine to £1000 last year which is $1600 a day and no charges with first direct - so depending on what playing I'd combo cash and cards

Just call the casino host / cage tit, pretty straight forward - they'll give you SWIFT, IBAN, Bank Routing info and instructions and then check with your bank this end.  I am first direct and pretty simple to do over the phone, can do in a single day and from memory i did it in one day last time and they charged me £40. 

I do just tend to take cash and a few cards now though and use safe as easier and deposit a cage if I bink

I wired $25k to the Venetian today, I was quoted 3 days by them. I know a couple of people taking similar sums in cash and declaring it but im not a fan of that with the way American security is at airports. FWIW Rio and the empire in London are owned by the same company if that helps. (i'd imagine its a smoother/quick transaction.

Just take cash its way the easiest, i don't quite get what American airport security has to do with it you are allowed to take as much as you want.

The exchange will go:

TSA "Why do you have $50k in cash?"
You "Am here to play a bunch of WSOP events"
TSA "Cool, gl i will look out for you on telly"

For those wiring it. I thought there was some silly rule in some casino's about only being able to take a smallish % of it in cash when you got there as they want you to play house games with it? Or has that rule changed now?

I know some guys have been caught out with that one in the past.
