I was trying to fix a bad software install by taking windows back to a 'System restore point'. After the system restore all of the windows language has now become symbols!!!!

I have posted a small pic abov so as it is easier than trying to explain. I am using Windows Vista.

Really done it this time

Any help much appreciated

Have you tried turning it off and on?

Yes I have rebooted several times and installed all current updates from windows. I have also checked the windows language and it is still set to English.

When I type I get symbols instead of letters!!!!

I think you might be onto something Double?

When I go into fonts there is nothing there......empty?

Somehow I need to fill it?
