Titans a huge shock picking Jake Locker.  Lots of concerns about him in the pocket.

Having said that, he was projected to be No 1 this time last year, but stayed in college another season.

I've merged the two - my thread was a casualty of the lockout buried down on page 3.

Thank God it's been resolved and only one game lost (the HoF game).  Its going to be a manic few days as free agency gradually kicks in over the next few days.  Waiting with intrigue to see if the Eagles are one of the teams who make a move for Asamugha - their draft tactics of passing on the chance to take a cornerback in the first round suggest they might (although about 20 other teams are also linked with him - Dallas and Houston are two I've seen mentioned a lot recently).

It also seems appropriate to guage interest for a Fantasy NFL League.  I'm plan to set one up on nfl.com shortly but post here if interested.  My general thoughts are to maybe have a money league if enough interest, say $20 a team, and perhaps a separate free league for those wanting to give it a go for the first time without playing for money.  For those who haven't played it's immense fun and relatively easy to pick up.

The format works best with around 10-16 players.  I played a few leagues last season, including one with 20 players, and the free agent pool in that league was a little thin on the ground so the post-draft trades were somewhat scarce.

It's carnage now - I can barely keep up with the trades being announced!

Some interesting ones so far:

Reggie Bush to the Dolphins
Sidney Rice to the Seahawks
Donovan McNabb to the Vikings (been rumoured every year for at least the last 5 so at least it's happened now!)
Matt Hasselbeck to the Titans
Quite a few players staying put too - Santonio Holmes the most notable

Other rumoured trades, but not confirmed yet
Kolb to go to Arizona in a trade for Rogers-Cromartie
Asomugha being strongly linked with the Jets (scary if paired with Revis!)

Thought there might have been a bit of calm before the storm, as the trades don't take effect until 2nd August (or sometime around then) but it's not stopping them being announced.
