Anyone try this morning? Took me ages to get 2 x tickets to the weightlifting final, slightly gutted to find even though it went through there is a chance I wont get them, I get confirmation in just over a week.
Biggest problem was filtering out all the womens events, plenty of them left.

Had confirmation of three events which were as expected Hockey, Womens football and Boxing, but also have my two tickets I won and waiting to hear which event this will be for. Applied for more Handball, mens football and more hockey yesterday via family so waiting to hear if successful or not. Won't be long before Paralympic ticket windows open in September and we start all over again.

Anyone else applied for Paralympics tickets - the deadline is 26 September?
I've just applied for the opening ceremony and one of the athletics sessions, as I'd quite like to experience the stadium in it's original format before they let West Ham fans trash it.
The application process seems to be passing with very little fanfare compared to the main Olympics application process. I expected it to be lower profile, but not quite this much!

Got the charge on my card today for the Paralympics application - got all the tickets I requested. 2xOpening Ceremony plus 3 for one of the athletics session.
Thought they'd still be oversubscribed for the opening ceremony at least, so am pleased with the outcome. I'd still expect it to be pretty spectacular.

More rubs from the Olympic organisers. I got an email today saying "We would like to invite you to take advantage of an exclusive presale for London 2012 Olympic Games tickets from 11am on Sunday 13 May until 11pm on Thursday 17 May 2012.
You are one of the many Olympic sport fans who have applied for tickets previously and were unsuccessful. To recognise your support for the London 2012 Games, you now have a chance to purchase up to four tickets for one session of your choice on a first come, first served basis. " Unfortunately, they didn't think I deserved a shot at the Athletics tickets that go on sale (for those selected) on the 11 May. FML.
