I didnt pay anywhere near the going rate but im informed the going rate that people are paying via hospitality companies and touts are as follows

Cat AA- 10k-15k a ticket
Cat A- 5k-8k a ticket
Cat B- 2k-4k a ticket
Cat C- 1k-2k a ticket
Cat D- 1k a ticket

what category does he want 10k for 4? If its Cat B its about right, expensive for C or D and cheap for A and very cheap for AA

I thought I'd been shafted.

But if those prices are correct, I've got a bargain!

Went for a walk around Olympic park yesterday and unfortunately the place is going on lock down shortly for a month or so before the games. The security guy kindly told me though that affordable tickets for every event will be available daily from the ticket office for EVERY event. Apparently the Olympic committee have tried to keep that under the radar. Good news for anyone chancing their arm on the day though.

Just bought a ticket at cosport.com for the last day of the heptathlon.

Loads of tickets for various events available there if anyone wants some.

Thought I'd pop on that site to see if I could get tickets to watch the Dream Team basketball....checked my tickets I got weeks ago for the first time, turns out the only session I got tickets to is GB v Spain (world champs) and USA against a qualifier. Yummy

AA Closing ceremony ticket just gone up on offer for 2 grand.

Free profit of at least 5 grand if you want to buy it.

Maxed out my VISA card already or I'd snap it up!

If anyone wants them (it's actually 2x Closing ceremony tickets) I've got them in my cart..

Let me know in the next 20 minutes and I'll remove them and you can pick them up.
