Claims to Fame - the B list.

A post from redarmi in another thread saying who he went to school with gave me the idea for a claim to fame type thread.
Obviously not after absolute crackers. Just shabby B/Z list stories for people to read.
Apologies if there is already a similiar thread, but It has not crossed my path.
I have a few, all equally as terrible as the next... but will start with this one.
I went to school with Yonah from the hit girl band of the 90s 'Cleopatra' not only were we in the same class, but on my last day I got a cheeky neck in with the pop sensation.
[ ] she is good looking, [ ] she was slimmer than me at the time. Siiiiigh.
Bet there are some absolute crackers from fellow blondes.
Top that, coming at cha!

Not really a claim to fame but one of my good friends at sixth form college was Karen Taylor as in "Touch me I'm karen taylor" or whatever the show was called. I also spent a week in Costa rica with Frank Rosenthal whom de Niro's character in Casino was based on. He was quite possibly the most odious character I have ever met.

I failed to perform the relevant maintenance and safety checks on a large piece of industrial machinery that was later used by that chick from CBeebies.

I once did this to Chief Superintendent Brownlow from The Bill tv program.
I thought my brother-in-law was behind me.

Yep, back in the day, it was in Sheffield round about this time of year as the world championships were on, the year Marko Fu knocked him out of the crucible in the first round. He was parked outside Prince Naseems gym, sat in the passenger seat of a Merc, Im running towards the car and some yob calls me a prick, I get closer, realise its Ronnie, and have the biggest star struck smile on my face as I run past him.
What a classless prick that guy is, I have hated him ever since.
In another claim to fame, Ken Doherty once said to me 'Ronnie was right, you are a *****' at a poker event, but that was a friendly in-joke (or thats how I chose to take it).
As you can imagine, I tell the story a lot.

I bumped into Dean Gaffney in a nightclub, literally. Made him spill his drink all over the gaff, his minders ushered me away before i had the chance not to offer to buy him another. He was a guest host or something. I couldn't believe he had his own minders. This was in 2004, don't even think he was on Eastenders anymore.
Also my nan lived on the same street as Frank Bruno.
