There is a corking table on 1b

Mo Muse, Praz Banzi, Stephen the Mole Boyd and David Johnson

In reasonably amusing scenes as Johnson took his seat the exhortation went over the PA

"Here he is your 2010 GUKPT Leaderboard winner Dave Johnson" (Ryan Spittles perks up in adoration) "lets give him a big round of applause"

A smattering of applause ensues

The TD persists "A BIG round of applause please"

About half the field obliges. One railbird ASKS FOR JOHNSON'S AUTOGRAPH!!

I think we will try this at Luton one night

Here is our hero. And Johnson

Whilst Ben Jenkins rises over the 80,000 mark David Nicholson is out

Short-stacked he found Pocket Nines and shoved, called by Ben Jackson with Ace-Ten

Jackson outflopped Nicholson to knock him out

3 out in Level 1 of 1b

Ali Mallu and Mo Muse are two of them.

Not the greatest surprise, they'll get them in lighter than a lot of players (usually hit, mind)

On a flop of 4--5--7 John Miller & Dave Colclough lock horns as they get it all in

Dave......9-9

John.....7-7

The turn and river are both blanks for Dave who loses 15,000 to John.

John Miller now up to 35,000 from 800 only earlier.
