Dan Morgan OUT

Morgan jams Ace-Four off unopened in the cut-off

the small blind calls with King-Nine

the board runs out Q-10-x-x-J

Morgan has been unlucky today, and that river pretty much tops it off

Interesting ruling, though I hesitate to post it

Cut off raises, small blind shoves

Cut off is deciding and the dealer mucks the small blinds hand

the small blinds hand is mucked into the mucked cards

the ruling is that the cut off wins the hand, for the matched bet

but the small blind got his extra chips over the matching of the initial raise, back

Scotty has     his opponent has     and is short stacked

The flop and the turn are all red A K Q J and the river is a black 10 so it's a straight for both and a split pot.

sorry for the delay, someone pinched my power (we are alternating plug sockets with 2 other sites)

Meanwhile the day 1b'ers are back, there are 70/78 left and they are at level 3 and the blinds are 75/150.

Sounds like a decent ruling to me

We are nearing the end of Level 8 for 1a, at which point that flight stops for the day

37 of 98 left

chip counts will follow for that flight, and then I will turn my attention to Flight 1b
