Howmany turned up for the 250 tonight ?is there a list of runners?
No list of runners as far as I'm aware but it got 42, £11,750 prize pool 5 paid £4k up top
We've got 4 reporters on 3 tables now so we've got the time to take some requests as things tighten up a bit on the bubble so to all the lurkers, don't be shy!
could you try get the hands and boards right?
could you try and give a volunteer a break?
he knows i'm sort of joking but if you aint gonna get it right you are a waste of time. he maybe from the firm who paid for this blogg but it aint rocket science getting the most importsant bit right. what the cartds are and what the board is
otherwise we may as well watch the live stream and put up with tower

Ryan Spittles opens to 7,500 from 60,000
Praz Bansi sets him in from the big blind with A-10
Spittles calls with A-Q and holds to double to 125,000

+3. Guys are doing it out of their own time, it's much harder than it seems, and they're doing a great job. And the Tower is a hero too.

It worked out being 18k to calling 54k so 45s is getting 3 to 1 so needs 25% equity
Its pretty tough to pokerstove because of all the side pots. I've left out the guy calling all in for <1bb from the calculations too because stove assumes that everyone is playing for the the same pot
The main pot accounts for about 43k of it and is just heads up with 45s vs Mark McCluskys jamming range which I've put conservatively as 77+, A9s+, QTs+, AJo, KQo
Overall against fairly strong ranges (which they both should have, he can't really expect the guy calling all in for 10k to clown it off with 56s) the
is ~24% which needs to be weighted somewhat towards the 33% number because most of the pot is heads up. That'll tip it over the magic 25% mark to make it a +chipEV call
ICM hates calls like this so that'll take it down a bit but overall I don't think its ever going to be worse than breakeven
Sorry to shake your faith Alex but its 1-0 to Tighty. Early doors though.
Hmm I thought it was correct at the time, but changed my mind on the way home. I was the 97 off fella and briefly said so on the way out btw

Just to correct one misconception. Dan is doing this as a blonde member who loves reading the updates, and has donated to them. He asked to help, his involvement with the firm was nothing to do with my accepting, they were not involved.
He's doing well.

Craig Burgess doubles through Simon Deadman
Deadman makes it 6.1k in early position, Robert Lacey calls and Burgess jams for 37k
Deadman calls with
Burgess
Board runs 9286Q for a decent sweat but AA hold and Burgess doubles to 80k
