Football League Play Offs start tonight so it's time for the annual play off trixie.

This year I've gone for........Reading, Peterborough and Accrington Stanley.
These are the top scorers involved in each of their divisions play off. Should have done the research to see if that was a good indicator for play off winners but I didn't....
I like to know that the team has goals in them and if they concede then it's not the end of the tie.

Championship is pretty close for goals and probably prefer Cardiff on paper but Dave Jones refusal to accept the mental side of the game and their failures in recent times (Losing last week to fail to take automatic race to the final day, Losing play off final, missing play offs when only needing a point on final day) puts me off.

I think Forest will win tonight. Swansea lost a lot of games away from home and Forest have a good record at home. Forest don't have a great play off record but it's the first game and they are at home so I don't think they'll be under too much pressure today. Not sure if I'll get involved betting on the match itself maybe something speculative like Boyd to score 2 or more. He's done it twice in 10 games since coming to Forest and scored his first goal for Forest in the away league game against Swansea.

If you fancy Boyd, maybe try Betfred's double/treble delight thing, paid 30/1 on Maxi 1st scorer on monday.

Cracking game last night - Forest deserved more on the night IMO, but failing to break down 10 men at home ultimately their downfall.

Cheering on the Reading tonight.

Agree it was a great game last night. Put a decent argument across for scrapping the away goals rule. Was much more open with nobody having to worry about it.
Thought Forest were pretty average for 135mins of the tie. Put up a good fight at the end but I think the better team went through. A lot of talk about lady luck not being on their side but they didn't really turn up till they were 2-0 down.

Pretty much spot on.  We were not good enough for 3 out of the 4 halves, still feels like I've been dragged through the gutter though.  Better team won overall.

I don't want to watch another game now til August.

GL Reading tonight.
