Awesome idea.

I once heard him say, 'Taylor's up and down the ockey like an octopus doing the limbo.'

Complete gibberish, but legendary.

I first noticed Waddell when I heard him describe Phil Taylor as Britains greatest living sportsman. Now I know he throws a decent arrow but come on.

Hard to find anyone anywhere in any sport to be so dominant for so long, i agree with waddell on that.

I've always like this one:

'When Alexander of Macedonia was 33, he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer. Bristow's only 27.'

My favourite:-

"Darts players are probably a lot fitter than most footballers in overall body strength."

I think darts is physical.

If snooker, archery, clay pigeon shooting, etc are sports, then I don't see why not.

Non physical?
How so? then i suppose snooker is not a sport either or shooting or a miriad of others.
There is tremendous skill in darts, more so than most other sports IMO.
