At the moment I've got 153,367 FPPs and 63,400 VPPs.

Every $55+$5 tournament I enter, whilst I'm platinum. gets me 25 VPPs and 62.5 FPPs. (87.5 when I'm SuperNova)

if he was to treat himself to a ipod would those points spent affect his overall points towards his supernova rating.

If I were to treat myself to 9 i-pods, I would then have only 9,367 FPPs. It would not affect my 63,400 VPPs, or my quest for Supernova.

I ain't going to be some e-bay i-pod whore though. I'd much rather I used the points on World travel and buy-ins to large comps such as the EPT.

Why would you want 9 iPods? That's just silly.

There's far better things to do with my points........

I could get 306 T-shirts and save loads on Laundry.

Or 191 copies of Matt Lessinger's "Book of Bluffs" so I get really good at it.  Cheesy

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

9 different colours of i-pods maybe, to match whatever earings I'm wearing that day.

Or.......I could name a star after each member of the So Solid Crew and still have enough left over to pay stellar homage to Take that, Westlife, Blue, my Mum and Dad and buy 27 Isabelle Mercier posters.....

Do you find that the games are easier to beat up at the high high stakes of the $55 turbos or slightly tougher, iv heard from various places that the games are easier at the slightly higher levels but i think that was about cash games, whats the STTs like? After my bankroll plummeting at the $15 turbos iv had to drop back down to the $6 games but that may have just been a slight glitch, whats your opinion?

As players become progressively tighter and more aggressive I have only ever observed a tougher game as you move up the limits in STT.

If on a short roll, perhaps steering clear of the turbos for a while would be good. The regular tournaments have a smaller variance as you'll be able to bring your (hopefully) superior poker to bear more often.

Days 94 and 95 - 69 down one day, 80 under the belt the next.
Just like a Mars, half a dozen cans of Red Bull a day, help you work, rest and play.

Well almost, they don't do much for the ol' resting malarky.
This bothers me not.
Sleep is for sleepy people, are there any discos open at 10am?

Days 94 and 95 Results : +$405 (+$13,397.5 total)
ROI : 8.3% (after 2,577 thingies)
Required daily rate : 61.9

Do you see what I've done boys and girls?
A new statistic in the results section of every update for the final run-in. It's how many tournaments, played per day, I'll need to average to get the job done.
It takes into account that I'll have two more days off this month.

Henceforth I'll use the acronym RDR instead of required daily rate (to confuse all the people who haven't been keeping up properly  Cheesy )

You are close - 1423 to go -  Cool

I watched one of your tables last night - about 11pm or thereabouts, interesting game, you finished 5th in that one. I suppose since you are playing 60+ a day you won't have any recollection of any one particular game. I will observe a few more during the run-in.

p.s. This thread is legendary.

Can't wait to read about your 8000 STT challenge next month
