The life and tribulations of Scunthorpe's finest at its best.

I love this diary.
if you had to walk a mile in my shoes you would defo jump in a taxi Smiley

First time I met the Herbmeister at dtd he had these horrible plastic Y3 Claire Raynors on.

Herbs, good to see the diary back on track, were you into the late 80s casual attire? What is your favourite pair of trainers?

diadorra borg's mate were the nuts in my teens. But I have to say my all time fav footwear were Adidas shoes. I have searched hi and low to find an image of them but to no avail. You could get away with wearing em to school with Farrah trousers and a nice lambs wool jumper, usually Lyle and Scott or Pringle. Then at night we would all be wearing Fila, Lacoste, Tacchini etc.

As you probably all know I am really under it skint at the minute and things are not too good.

A couple of mates chucked in £30 each last night for me to play the 50 seats gtd comp and I won a seat. Its been 6 months or so since I played so was nice to bink one on the cheap. Good luck To everyone this weekend, I got a good feeling.

Tr will follow and will be trying hard not to upset anyone including myself Smiley

Is that why you bought your trainers from the back of Barry Neville's van?

Massive good luck for this weekend, in fact as I am AWOL from poker for March you can have all my luck!

I saw a chap last weekend in Lincoln with some diadora Borg elites, they just looked sad and past their sell by date. Do not get me wrong, I love the labels listed. I used to go to school in Farah slacks and I have recently been acquiring Farah vintage clobber. My biggest vice in clothing is old school Adidas trainers, I had some torsions as a kid with the yellow tag on the laces. When it comes to the Adidas v Nike debate, it is Adidas > Nike all day for me.

Just seen millidonks post of a classy cockney girl in head to toe Adidas, that's why you have to get the retro attire to distinguish between hooch drinking, boy slapping and mouthy teenagers.

yeah cheers guys. Wife marched me up to the job centre today and I got a rather irritating woman who suggested I work for this company 20 miles away for free for 2 weeks to see if they think I am suited to the job. I declined and she asked what am I looking for. My wife got the hump when I said anything that's gonna pay me £40k for to days work this weekend Smiley

on line yes. Live I probably am actually playing more because I have been playing mpp, incredible 100 and super 50's as well. I have to say that the smaller comps are a lot of fun and the social side is excellent.

Yeah of course I remember Hills the first time round. Everything has come full circle again and a lot of young kids are getting their Hills from places like JD sports in all sorts of funny colours.

In fact a lot of it has comeback again and I am giggling to myself because as I type this I can see myself in the mirror sat in a Fila roll neck and Lacoste bucket hat. Lol. What the hell am I thinking. If I did not have so much other stuff to worry about then I might allow myself a few ninutes to have a mid life crisis
