Does it count as a record when there's re entries?

That's what I was just thinking... I mean, if it was a rebuy comp it obv wouldn't count. I guess re-entries are just about different enough.

I guess they just have to be careful with the wording. It's guaranteed for 5000 runners. If they break it then they should say they have had x entries as opposed to x runners.

not just the club assuming same as before on line buy and payouts x number of new sign ups

I doubt they really give a shit if its a record or not. That many people through the door in a week playing the tourney, cash games and house games is a result for them from a business point of view.......

would not of thought so ....but if you won more than one seat more than one golden chip then ..maybee you still in with a shout that way !

The Golden Chip will only count for your first attempt but you can win more than one Golden Chip and use them for each re entry.

Pretty sick stuff from DTD.

For the purposes of records, I think only unique entries should be counted. DTD have done incredibly well to pull in the runners for Grand Prix 3, and I think that record shouldn't be 'tainted' by a re-entry record.

We are delighted with the 1564 players for the Grand Prix and have now decided to really raise the bar for low buy in huge guarantees, here are the basics for Grand Prix IV

Date: August 13th - 21st

€250,000 guaranteed

Qualifiers will be held both live and online, buy in will be €50 + €10 and you will be able to re enter.

Top 10% of qualifiers will go through to day 2 so all players will be in the money.

Day 1 structure will be 10,000 chips 30 minute clock and there will be 2 flights Saturday / Sunday and the Friday. Alternates / late reg for 4 levels.

All returning players will start with 15,000 chips, 40 minute clock and our festival structure

No restriction on re entries.

Kelvin Mullis was our first £5000 Golden Chip winner finishing 8th this weekend.

Golden Chip has been trebled and now wins you a £15,000 car

Satellites start Monday May 30th to Sun August 7th.

Online Day 1's will be 8th to 12th August , 2 each day at 7pm and 9pm.

so if u finished day 1 with 80k it would be no better than finishing with 500 chips, or is it 15k more??
