Gotta know when to hold em, and know when to fold them. Cant see how this can ever end without tears mate, just ship monies back and move on imo. Cant see how its worth anyones time especially yours, playing $9 comps. Obviously i dont have a share so just adding a neutral opinion. Gl anyways, life>poker

Only just seen this. I kinda agree (obv from thread I think), but I think there is a reasonable chance I can grind out quickly (given a few flips here and there). I have no intention to grind down here for 6 months (again clear from thread i think).
Very much just seeing how this goes, binking a $20 wouldnt have us too far short of being back to $3k. Then we can either cash out or reload.
Playing small for a few weeks/a month isnt a bad thing for me at the minute either (lol - knowing full well I intend to try and play some scoop events!!!!)
tyty for input thou

Not sure why you are interested but I can confirm that I brought the stake to an end.
The total staked amount was $6,000.00
Paid out during stake $3,200.
Stake value at termination $700
Free roll of million net returned $900
Total value returned: $4,800.
Everyone was paid out on the basis of the % of the stake they held

In order to address Amatays point from last week:
I am really not sure what to say. The stake was brought to an end as I cant play anything like the volume it requires for all kinds of personal reasons.
One thing Amatay did omit to reveal, was the fact that when I brought this stake to an end, i did advise that periodically, I will be playing poker. I also advised that as a gesture of good will, if I scored for more than $4k on ANY site for the rest of this year, I would pay people back any shortfall on their stake (which I felt was a fair compromise).
It is also worth pointing out that (as with the entirety of this stake). People have held contrasting views.
I was for instance told "not to send any additional monies if i binked, it wouldn't be fair on me". I was also told, "not to even send a refund on the stake and to buy myself a pint for the fun that was generated in final table sweats late last year" (I returned the stake fwiw).
Finally - they have all been thanked before, but thanks again to the investors. It was appreciated greatly.

Are you in net profit from the stake? If so, then you haven't handled it well and it kinda sets a bad precedent. That's the only reason I'm posting. I know you're a good guy and longstanding member of blonde but I'd say this to someone I didn't know too.

From a chat I had with Amatay, he was unhappy because your volume seemed quite high to be described as periodic.

A rather stupid comment whoever it was from.

I couldnt disagree more - and wont
FWIW - i actually dont think I have played a single MTT on Party since the stake came to an end.
I have played some MTTs on Stars.
As for calling my friend stupid - you are obviously free to hold your own opinion, however poorly it is formed.
