Backed Crawley for League Two (12/1) and Brighton to win promotion (7/1).

Thinking of adding Van Persie top Prem scorer at 12/1.

And a four-division Yankee on...

Man City
Birmingham
Crawley
Someone for the Conference, dunno who yet.

Anyone else played?

Liking Crawley at those odds!.. What are they for promotion!!

I fancy Blackburn to go down from Prem.

Huddersfield League 1

Want to get on Wigan to go down but may be about timing. Al Habsi signs they look more secure but I expect Nzogbia, Rodallega, McCarthy, Diame to be linked with moves and if a couple of them went they would shorten.
Oxford in L2. Missed the Crawley boat.

Haha I'm thinking of backing Birmingham to go down @ 50s.

If they sell Gardner, Johnson, Danns and Foster which they probably will, they are pretty snookered in a very tough division.

Atm in Cship I fancy Leicester and Hull.

Leicester too short tho so would take Hull @ 25s.

Plenty of money, lots of new young talented signings in Jan who have yet to properly gel and a decent gaffer in Pearson.

Nah, gone off that Van Persie bet. Waiting now for the prices on Tubbsy to be top League Two scorer. Anything over 6-1 is too big imo. I love Tubbsy more than he loves his mirror.

Que? Just the price I'm looking for. He's the main man for the current 3/1 favourites. Top scorer in the Conference last season.

Crawley at 12/1 is retardedly good value

In recent seasons Dagenham and Rebridge have gone up having being promoted only very recently from the BSP (admittedly they'll be back in League 2 this season), Stevenage went up at the first attempt and did so by beating Torquay who only came up a couple of seasons ago.

Given the money they're willing to spend, fill yer boots I reckon.

I thought Hull looked a decent ew shot until I heard they were linked with Dele Adebola.
Thinking Ipswich might be worth a punt. Big money from Wickham reinvested in the team could give them a chance.

To sum up Ipswich last season: Jimmy Bullard was given POTY by the supporters despite playing just 17 games for Ipswich.

They've lost their best defender (Mcauley), their midfielders are awful and they're incredible average up-front.

My mate's a season ticket-holder and I went with him 18 times last year so I've no grudge to bear against them, but they've little to no chance of even making the play-offs without a huge overhaul.

Appreciate the input. Rather you saved me cash than say nothing.
Heard they were signing Chopra and St Ledger which would improve them and if Wickham goes for 8mil plus there could very well be more signings to come.
No chance of Bullard coming back?

Victor 'I'll take that bet' Chandler, the day after they officially sealed promotion from the Conf.

Chopra's a decent striker at this level, but nothing special. Struggled for goals this season and it's worth noting that Cardiff are happy to take a 2.5 mill loss on a player they spent 4mill on last year. St Ledger would be a decent signing, but I really do honestly believe that they've got not one player worthy of Premier League football at the moment.

Bullard almost certainly won't sign for them. One issue is the wages, but recently on Soccer AM he was asked why he was POTY having played so little and he himself said it was because the others are crap. Couldn't believe that when I heard it.

Boro would be a good bet for me. Gibson will always back his managers and Mowbray's had the best part of half a season or so to come to terms with the quality of his squad so I expect them to be up there. Reading too, depending on how many go, as they've a decent squad with a solid backroom and lots of stability which counts for so much in this league. Also fancy Burnley and Hull.

One team I'd happily lay is Birmingham. Nobody knows the true extent of their financial situation and I have a feeling there'll be a few shocks to come from that club this year.

GL anyway.
