Yeah it was. I can’t buy a winner at the minute. I had a decent bet on Jack but he just left himself too much to do. Frustrating.

Looked like he had got it right, but then got one to the body, and seemed bothered for the rest of the fight.

Yeah that body shot in the 10th knocked the stuffing out of him. You leave yourself backed in to a corner though when you gift away too many early rounds like he did. You can’t afford any setbacks. I thought he had done enough to nick it but couldn’t complain about the draw.

I switched back to UFC after the fight, so didn't hear if there will be a rematch.

There is so much dislike for Stevenson that it's easy to overlook how good his chin and bodywork is. It's a shame his 40yo body looked a little soft on the scales and you can file him under another fighter who wasted away his physical prime years. Likewise for Kell Brook and Lee Selby; gigantic at the weight and spend years fighting making pathetic title defenses. Take on one live guy at welter/feather weight, lose, blame the weight cut and move up a division.

Eddie makes Broner an offer of a three fight deal worth $6.75m and Broner says no thanks.

24 hours now till we get this live on Sky.

The McDonnell twins are a breath of fresh air but there's a reason they call Inoue the monster.

It’s a tough tough ask. Also at 32 it must be killing him boiling down. One thing he doesn’t lack though is a set of balls. I don’t think he will be good enough but hopefully he can make it competitive.

I'll hold my hand up and say i spewed it off on Ceja at 1/3 way back in 2013. It took both Komeda fights in 2015 at evens plus to make it up. That was his peak years. The Solis fights dont fill me with hope.

Then again if im wrong it could be a sensational fight.

Yeah I think peak McDonnell would cause him a problem or two I’m just not sure he’s got all that much left in the tank. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

McDonnell adds 26lbs overnight, twice as many as Inoue. That’s a ridiculous percentage of his overall weight.

What?

Seriously?

Wowzer.

I know these guys mess about with weight & rehydration & all that, but what would you normally expect the weight gain to be between weigh-in & fight?

26lbs, that's nearly two chuffing stone in 24 hours. Mind you, reckon I could almost match that if I tried.

Yeah it’s incredible, especially as he only weighed 117.5lbs to start with. Up to 14lbs is fairly common but to add 26lbs is at the extreme end of things. I’ve no idea how he gets his 5’9” frame down to 118.

So he WAS about 8st 5lbs, & he put on almost 2 stone overnight. That's 25% of his body weight. Jeez.

Surely that can't be healthy?
