The cruiserweight final is next Saturday with season two's draft the day before. I fancied it to be a close fight but it's a surprise to see Gassiev going favourite.

Home advantage pretty huge here. It’s not going to be easy for a Ukrainian to get the nod in Russia. Hopefully we don’t get a bent decision though to spoil what’s been a fantastic tournament

I've not thought about whether it is huge. The Matchroom home advantage is huge whereas this promotion is neutral, even if the venue is not.

I had an interest in Gassiev when it looked Russia bound and was coming round to laying it off.

Really looking forward to tomorrow nights final. The type of fight we see all to rarely. Numbers 1 and 2 in the division with all the belts on the line. I lean Usyk by decision but not sure he gets the nod in Russia.

Big Baby part of the Sky team next week. Eddie loves giving himself outs.

Who will he feed Miller to?

Whyte more likely to get a go at him, no?

I'll have to stay on the Usyk bandwagon. The mobility and a win in Riga over a superb Briedis effort edges it for me.

Chudinov gets beaten up yet gets the decision. Usyk could be drawing dead here unless he can force the stoppage.

The Road Warrior does it again.  When you are that good you don’t need to worry about bent judges.

Maybe the self-confessed best cruiserweight in the world will fancy a shot?

Or maybe Bellew is sliding backwards into a hedge right now. It'd be a good introduction to heavyweight seeing as cruiserweights cannot go on the Evander Holyfield diet these days.

Really good fight. Prob decent odds against though that it actually happens.
