I saw something about one of Furys saying they knew Kinhahan from way back, which makes sense as they were both in the same game.

Here in Ireland there is genuine astonishment at Kinahan's involvement in all this - he was named by the High Court as the leader of an organised crime and drugs gang know as 'The Cartel'. The feud with Gary Hutch's gang has killed at least 18 people and is well known to everyone in the country - regular front page news. He's a proper villain. Four years ago one of his weigh-ins was attacked by men armed with AK-47s and someone got killed - this doesn't tend to happen to 100% legitimate promoters.
Fury may as well have got Vito Corleone to put the fight together.

fury AJ fight is worth so much to eddie it would't surprise me if D Whyte gets paid £25m to NOT fight and he should probably take it for his own health and well being. He could be potentially a real pawn in the game and if i was him i would be looking at getting paid very well not to take a beating. He isn't a fan of staying in shape but loves cash.

I'm not an excitable guy however this is one of the best bits of news I have heard since COVID started. D Whyte is the guy I feel for here partly. 25m is what he deserves. 3 excellent British HWs leave the game with a great legacy regardless of outcome and with their heads intact. Too many punch drunk ex boxers out there.  |
