Ha! It's definitely not by the pool reading.

See Hrgovic disposed of the doorman, eventually.

The ref had plenty chances to stop that mess but the buck lies with Hrgovic.

Eggington's in a tear up over on 5 now.

It was one of his better fights. With more stuff on DAZN tonight, I don't know how anybody finds the time to go back and watch more stuff.

I've given up on tv shows at the moment, so just watch sport, and listen to podcasts Cheesy

Good result for Jono Carroll, and that's the only good fight you're likely to see on that card.

Yeah that defeat to Maxi Hughes didn’t look great at the time but has aged well given Maxi’s recent results.

Has anyone been reading Damage by Tris Dixon?

I’ve got it but not started on it yet. I’m guessing once I’ve read it I will think that the decision to allow Holyfield to fight last night was even more scandalous than I already do.

Ref was the MVP of the night there, jumping in as soon as he could.

Did anyone see Gary Neville's interviews with Joshua and then Fury last week? I quite enjoyed his interview style. Against my better judgement I find myself increasingly rooting for Fury instead of Joshua these days!

Yeah, they're both good.

Fury has a different answer for the same question depending which day you ask him, an. Has all his soundbytes down pat, though.

Makes me laugh saying he doesn't think Joshua wants the fight, when it was fastcar that finally got it done, and his firm are why it all fell apart Cheesy

I always thought he did, but when it keeps going sideways, had to think Bazza was right, and that they were probably doing what Finkel and company did with Wilder.

When it all plays out, looks like Joshua is the one that has always wanted the fights, regardless of how I or anyone thinks they would go.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-10013561/Anthony-Joshua-signs-career-long-promotional-deal-Eddie-Hearn-Matchroom-Boxing.html

Won't be long before Eddie is in the top end of the Times rich list at this rate with DAZN and AJ locked up for life.  Matchroom sport is a serious operator now in world sport.  The darts and snooker arms now are truly mickey mouse bolt ons for Bazza to keep his eye on during his later years in 'retirement'

I'm swinging back towards Joshua a little on account of his activity. That said Usyk will give him fits and Sky are welcome to my £25.

Fury on the other hand was mingling on the strip after testing positive for covid. Common theory is he was out of shape and old Bob delayed the fight.

Not beyond the realms of possibility he's been pissing about all year, which made Bob shit the bed when Edward actually managed to get that fight set up Cheesy

I could be tempted at around 7/2, but will just watch him win at these prices.

Think AJ will be too big and too strong, even with Usyk being the better boxer. Especially with Usyk sometimes being a slow starter, and AJ being a good finisher if he gets someone going.

Should be watching it with brunch in Vegas, before going to watch the UFC at T-Mobile, so will have to make do with Pizza and a homegame Grin
