I am at work but managed to see all 3 ai's for the top prize, i felt to sick for him and then thought the only way i could feel worse was if it had happened to me.  I throw my teddies when it happens to me in a $5 sng, but 3 times in a row and for that prize, sickness

I for one wanted him to win and i love the entertainment he brings to the game. So mvmmzdckjscnscvs  to the haters. ( And BTW i think i would say a lot worse then "tip the dealer...." )

Of course, but Hellmuth survived an all-in earlier on when Rast had a flush draw so its swings and roundabouts.

Whilst it would be frustrating there's no point getting annoyed about it. Nothing you can do.

Plus I thought Phil played the last hand badly/strange. He raised pre to about 400k, Rast flatted from the BB. Rast leads for 500k and Hellmuth just open shoves. Was such a weird way to play the hand.

No I think these defeats are only making him stronger and better and more hungry. The other players should fear Phil now.

Really wanted hellmuth to win this one, would have been a really good story for the game in stark contrast to all the black friday/full tilt going bust stories.

Some of the hands from the heads up match are lolbad (limp calling 3.5x raises with 96s playing 20bbs deep and opening to 3.5x pre) and Rast outplayed him pretty hard but still wanted a hellmuth win

Word is that hellmuth has been working on mixed games a ton this year and its only a matter of time before he has a non-holdem bracelet. He's still had a ridiculous series though and is leading the POY standings. His attitude seems to be much improved to so good luck to the guy, haters gunna hate.
