I've always been indifferent to the Hellmuth personality while respecting his MTT record. With how much the game has changed during his career I think three seconds in championship events from different disciplines in the same year and the POY crown would easily be his greatest achievement in poker, far greater than any year he won a bracelet including the ME win.
It would be ironic if the man who has such an infatuation with winning bracelets will gain infinitely more respect in a year he didn't win one than he has gained in any bracelet year (unless he ships the main event this year of course).

I think we should really remember the forgotten victim in all of this.
Yes, the first reserve 'model' for his Main Event entrance. Back to the pole you go M'Lady.
I thought this was funny and searched my bollox off to find a ring girl just holding a sign saying 12. Failed miserably, so this will have to do.

There is no better feeling than rocking up in a city for the first time, with nowhere to stay and everything new - so liberating.

Its interesting to note in general how Hellmuth's popularity has changed on here over the years. When this forum first started he was the man to look up to, then the kidz started to get good and he was considered a donk by many of them, seems like he has made a resurgence in popularity in recent times.

Actually it might be just the vocal ones, who knows for sure.
