Anyone want to lay me a big price that UK made a loss at the wsop? After main event obviously

Wouldnt wanna bet but would be interesting to know profit by individuals/nations in these things. Tilts me when announcers/commentators on tv etc say x player has made x amount in live tourns winnings etc. Yes but how much did you lose sir? Smiley

There are full lists of entrants with their place of residence somewhere on the WSOP site. So just a case of being arsed to go through it.

This is a really interesting proposition but by my thinking Dubai is too shrewd.  If you were to buy into every open event it would cost $264k and even if we disregard the $50k which didn't seem to have many British runners and skews the figure slightly the we would only need like 40 runners in every event to  be having a losing series so far and whilst i doubt this is the case it is probably close and when you take into consideration the number of ME runners i think it is probably odds on the Uk to be having a losing series when all done and dusted.

nah i think the difference between profit and loss would be Jake Codys 25k win, single handedly that tournament would have made 700k+ profit for UK, and can cover a load of the smaller buyins. Id say without a doubt we would be showing a big loss in $1ks and $1500s NL events.

Anyone seen a price on a brit to reach final table of ME btw?  Whilst on that subject anyone seen any interesting ME betting markets?  Bluesq had a few up that had some fairly good value I think albeit for small limits.

pretty sure this is correct

$7m gross cashes is also impressive

suppose you can spin either to the line you wish to take

Never ever thought I'd be saying these words but...

Audley Harrison to beat Lewis does look like good value.
