Bright / flashing LEDs on electrical goods.

Glowing and blinking, distracting me and spoiling my night vision.

Even the cord for my laptop has a bright blue light on it. I mean, WTF?

I bought a spare micro usb charger that has a bright neon blue light when plugged in. This makes it terrible when you sleep, basically the only time I charge my phone!

Sports people chewing gum, mid-sport.

Seb Coe refused to listen to music while running because anything other than concentrating on the job in hand was a distraction.

When I run, I need a distraction.

I can't understand people who go about their daily lives with earphones in.

In fairness, a lot of people on trains are really annoying.

And being flattened by truck that you didn't hear coming can completely ruin your day.

Well yes. Tends to help if you watch where you're going and make allowances for the fact you can't hear.

Not that many kids walk around with both headphones in. Whenever I jog I only use one, likewise for virtually any situation apart from on aeroplanes/trains/buses etc.

The stupid things should be banned from trains, buses, etc. The noise almost always leaks out.

I stare at them and mouth the words. Scares the wotsits out of them to see someone on the train in a suit mouthing "oh na na. What's my name?"
