It seems all we hear nowadays is how screwed the UK economy is and how the government have got no spare money
and in times of austerity how we must make cuts and look after what we have got...

...so why is then that every other Saturday a team of at least a dozen workmen and at
least 6 council vehicles (flat bed trucks, pick ups and vans etc.) are engaged in cutting the grass and trimming the
hedges on our local traffic islands.

Now I like to see a well presented roundabout as much as the next person but does it really need to be done on
a Saturday when the likelyhood is that these workmen are probably on double and triple time?

Surely the money could be put to better use.

I dont know why but this really pisses me off.

Good post!

Always pisses me off when I see some ridic expensive (piece of shit looking) modern art has been installed somewhere in town.

Other things that annoy me:

- 65% + of poker players esp those who bang the table/curse when they see a flop they'd have hit hard but aren't in the pot.

- pigeons.

- aggressive drunks. (Fun drunks are awesome).

- kinboshi.

Kids that walk out in front of your car because they have superhuman flesh that is 150 x stronger than steel and then stare you down when you curse.

The Government giving everyone the day off work for the recent Royal wedding.

"We've decided to make today a bank holiday"

Well thank you very much!! It doesn't cost the government a penny yet they get the credit for being so generous!!

It's the struggling businesses who still have to pay the staff for doing nothing whilst losing a days productivity in to the bargain.

If you say that there's 20,000,000 workers in the UK on an average £100 per day that's 2 billion quid in wages with zero output.

Great way to bolster a struggling economy.

Fortunately for the Government most people in the UK are too stupid to realise what a fuck up that day off was for the economy as their brains can't think further ahead than next week's family credit cheque.

Mothers with prams who push them into the road while waiting to cross. You will not see this happen when Jeremy Kyle is on TV.

Saturday/Sunday Drivers. Hog the fast lane / Brake test you / Curse you. All I want to do is get to work.

Debit card charges when Booking Holidays and Flights.

Why people shop at TESCO

Walking into a Nice Pub early doors asking for a bite to eat the places empty and they tell you there fully booked. "F*** off Tom Browns"

How much beef Jerky costs.

People who start threads purely to give themselves a chance to get in a thinly veiled "I bought my wife a £30k car" brag.
