Just popped out to the shop to get some milk and got hit in the face by a pair of glasses.

Not having a second pair of glasses and now driving around like Mr Magoo.
Apparently you need to get your eyes tested once every 2 years as "A 4 YO prescription is no longer valid, Sir"
Sigh, "I'll make an appointment for an eye-test and buy some ones with the new prescription, just give me a pair now so that I can see FFS"

"Oh no, Sir. We can't do that. I can make an appointment for an eye-test for next Tuesday and you'll have your new glasses before Christmas"

So had to go online to order some glasses to ensure I have some next week....brilliant. (Admittedly had to tick a box saying that my prescription wasn't more than 2YO old"

Did he also try and get you to drop the price?
When I sold my house 2 buyers asked me to drop 10k on day of exchange. Soon told them to f off. First  buyer never got back in touch and second buyer backed down when he realised I was serious.
