Fml. Sister bought me a Barbour at Xmas just like that. All the mums at school have em and I fit in quite well. Sad

I would put bus catching Leeds fans but would be a hypocrite. Leeds were the team I choose to support as a kid and only stopped going to watch em in the early 90's. I also had to catch a bus with the kids twice last year. Novelty has worn off now tho Smiley

Yeah, basically the thing was a flop (had sold around 10% of units in US) and HP are getting out of the consumer space and have ceased all development etc, so it's a case of everything must go.

Good news is people are working on an Android port for it so it should be useful in future.

Thinking about it now I almost wish I'd snagged one.

thought you might be interested in this ....

http://liliputing.com/2012/02/cyanogenmod-9-alpha-2-for-the-hp-touchpad-now-with-netflix-support.html

Received my HP Touchpad last night, very impressed with the feel of it so far and in comparison to my ipad it actually feels better made. Not sure on performance yet but ok so far.

Seems I just won the HP lottery... any tips, good apps etc?

The apps are pretty limited.
I've only paid for 1 which was an RDP app called Splashtop which is excellent.

An android port isn't too far away now so not to fussed about apps at the moment.

Driving down the M5 through some road works. 50 mph speed limit, I'm going over that (not saying by how much) in the outside lane. Lanes 1 and 2 are chokka and I've got a woman doing her make up flashing her lights at me to move out of her way.

Waiting ages at a junction, then you notice the queue is coming to an end and you can go after the last guy goes past. And then the last guy stops to let you out. ffs.

bollocks should you, I'm with cf on this one. it actually takes you longer to get out than if they'd just kept going, really irritating and utterly pointless

But all that pales into insignificance when you consider his motives.

He's putting himself out, trying to do something nice.

You're so right Tom. These little gestures are what's missing in everyday life.

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

Just realised can't play GUKPT Walsall because of Mothersday (I know longshot that I'd make it to Sunday),
DtD Deepstack April as it falls on Easter weekend or DtD Deepstack May as it falls on Mayday weekend.

One of the few pitfalls of being a family man, sigh.
