Anyone been to Tallin ?

Yep! went with CraigyBetts from Blonde and a few other forces lads. Abso amazing women!!!! Everyone was really friendly, decent casino as well. Think the main club is called Hollywoods or something. was immense. A cop did pull a gun on me and my mate but it was our fault as we refused to leave an establishment when we were hammered. The manager said he would call the cops and we called his bluff... The copper then went to the taxi queue and told them all that none of them were allowed to take us home. Managed to find our way back to the hotel in 3 foot + of snow with just jeans and a Tshirt on. Still to this day i haven't seen any country/any city that has nicer women than Estonia.

Edit, i also passed out in the snow after going back with the only ginger in Estonia, woke up and hadn't even been robbed. That just goes to show how nice the people are.

I loved Tallin - one of my favourite city breaks.

We went in summer - great beaches, and the nightlife/women/beer/clubs  -all amazing.  A nice old town for culture too.

Really good city - recommend it to anyone

I organised one for a friend who likes his outdoor activities and it took quite a while finding something that the majority of people could afford and were prepared to do. We ended up doing a bike ride and raft building (sandwiched between lots of drinking) which came in at a  cheap £20 a head and everyone enjoyed. The companies who organised stag dos wanted ~£75 for exactly the same when I enquired so I'm dubious about the value they provide (in the UK at least).

Loads of them offered Crystal Maze experiences all over the country but the prices seemed rather extortionate and from what I gathered it seemed like there would just be a load of small activities in a field and it would lack that whole Crystal Maze zing.

Went in 05', really enjoyed it, the ladies were incred. Heard it has been spoilt a bit by the influx of British tourists, which has pushed the prices up and made the locals a lot more wary of Brits in particularly.

Fancied it for the last 10 years but never got the chance, hopefully make it before it turns in to Blackpool.

As a completely random theme suggestion everyone in the group pulls a name out of the hat (kept secret) a couple of weeks prior to the stag do. A budget is allocated and strictly adhered to for buying whoever it is their outfit. On the big day, all report with bin bags - dump with names on together.

Each bloke then gets up collects there bag, gets changed in the bogs and comes out for photo call. Obviously all drinking tinnies whilst waiting. Once all randomly dressed, head out into town...

So you can completely stitch people up n have a laugh. To give u an idea of how we turned out:

We did a variation of this where we all had a fiver budget, and had to pick a shirt and a hat for someone at random. It was sort of funny, but it was pretty weak, some people didnt really twig we were even on a stag do they just thought we were knobs, fancy dress would have been much better.

One we did for a mate of mine who is really into proper, cool, indie/guitar music - we each bought a band t-shirt of some desperate act for him to wear throughout the weekend, changing every few hours. so he spent the weekend wearing t-shirts of Phil Collins, Whitesnake, Curtis Stigers etc.

It was good because it was very particular to him - wouldn't have worked as well with someone who wasn't as precious about their music taste.

Going to upset millidonk, though my favourite stag do was 14 of us sharing a villa smack in the middle of Ibiza way off the tourist trail. Perfect for taxis to bora bora, ibiza old town and for one night only.. hell on earth, San An! 12 of the gang liked to spice up their nights with extra highs, though one other and myself became the booze brothers as its not my bag. Still had the best time and ticked off a few superclubs, chilled by eating and drinking in the old town one night and found a club called underground iirc, that was supposed to be where all the workers hung out and was relatively cheaper... I remember 2 drinks in space costing 55 euros.

The villa was amazing, worked out dirt cheap and having no one round for miles mean't we could party till it was time to roll out again! We had a massive pool and a decent area that we turned into a grass tennis court but played in pairs with a footy... one side of the court was marked with the swimming pool so you could do a flying kick winner and end up in the pool. Me and my boy Stowy soon became number 1 seeds and quarter finals were soon getting played out.

Vegas was mint though Millidonks  Wink

One i couldn't make but my mate's said was amazing was when they rented a couple of canal boats and just floated/sailed around going from place to place for a few days, getting smashed and causing mayhem. Docking up, going out and doing it all over again the next day. Think that is defo more about the company you are in as opposed to anything else.

Done this a few times on the Thames. Absolutely brilliant especially if the weathers good. Usually carnage at the locks/always someone who cant drive/steer to save his life/ always someone falls in/great pubs with lock ins......plus I'm sure with a bit of research/planning you can find a few activities on route with you want.
Also if you go for a week or few days, people can join/leave at anytime, if money/time if an issue.

An example: http://www.kriscruisers.co.uk/index.html

For those of you that have been to Tallinn, where is the area with all the nightlife?

Im trying to look at some hotels and attractions close by to see which one is nearest to the nightlife.

Tallinn University/City Museum?

Tallinn, Riga, Cologne (Köln), Hamburg.

Take your pick, but make sure it's Hamburg.

I went with CraigyBetts from here. He will remember a lot more than me as i was a complete mess. Stayed here: http://www.diytravel.co.uk/Best-Western-Hotel-Tallink-Tallinn-hotel-3535.html was real nice. i remember walking to the bars and that so it can't have been that far.

I think a lot of the decent stuff was in old town. The women are incred. Decentish priced drinks. Will try remember. The decent Casino is a bit of a trek as i recall walking back in the snow after having a gun pulled on me. (by policeman so don't worry)

Club Hollywood was proper decent, ask for a drink called 'bye bye' they mess you up! a good tip, don't try it on with any of the mafia's missus'.

Only other thing i remember was the stereo bar which was different but decent. Genuinely looks like a hifi from the front.

Barcelona was a top stag for mine. That city has got everything, particularly liked the guy in the closest tapas bar who looked at us every morning skulking into his place in various states of awfulness, he never asked us what we wanted ever - just brought over stuff that seemed absolutely perfect for us and then decided what time we should start drinking again by bringing over a round of lagers.

Birmingham was the shittest stag i've ever been on by a wide margin.

Barca was a great stag I went on as well.

Just make sure you don't get lost on the way out of the club and find yourself wandering down by the docks at 5am...
