Poker Traveller has been two years in the making and we have now launched the product for you players to use. This development has taken time and money to bring to fruition and we really want to know your thoughts on it. You are the guys that will be using it so if there's anything we can do to make your experience more friendly and successful, please let us know. We're really keen for feedback, both positive and negative, as long as you can be constructive and help us to better ourselves. We are delighted with what we've achieved with Poker Traveller and we believe it's the future of how you will buy into tournaments. No one else can offer what we can with this pre-registration site and we hope Poker Traveller will become an integral part of your poker experience.

Feel free to have a look around at www.pokertraveller.com

Do the players have to pay a premium for your service?

For popular events that sell out, are players guaranteed seats via booking with Poker Traveller?

you are carrying the logos of the big tours

are you a certified partner of all of these tours - or are we just giving you money in the hope that you buy us in?

Rich,

Good question, the answer is different depending on what you sign up for. I will summarise as best as possible.

GSOP - No admin charges at all (We run the tour)
WPT - 1.5% on buy ins, no admin charge if booked with accommodation. We are the the official WPT booking partner so no-one else can offer this
Unibet - No admin charges
EMOP - 1.5% admin charge in buy ins
GUKPT - As per EMOP
WSOPE - As per WPT

Yes, we guarantee all seats as we have pre-reg set up with everyone

In short, yes we are.

For example the GSOP tour is run entirely by our company, we are the official partner of the WPT, we hold a license from Pokerstars for the EPT.

In addition to this we are licensed by the WSOP, and have handled buy ins and accommodation for most of the European online sites and private individuals for a number of years.

They are pretty well known behind the scenes, probably most notably for having one of the  bigger national pub poker tours. They seem to have their fingers in a lot of pies, not sure whether that's a good thing or not, but I personally see them more of an events management company than a bunch of poker players having a stab at a business (or having a 'Zimbler' as I call it)

Q- Do you book the players hotel and travel needs as well as the buy-in? Most high stakes pros I know are incredibly intelligent but thick as pigshit when it comes to stuff that requires common sense like that.

It was, and as the poker community is pretty small we mostly know each other or have mutual friends.

So are you guys poker players turn business people? Or just random business people that spotted a potential gap in the market? Sorry for the questions, you will find poker players always have some suspicions with new ventures like this as there have been some dodgy people around the scene for as long as the game has existed.

I will however say that your site does look extremely professional, so that is an excellent start!

Cheers Barry, I was just about to reply to that one.

Event management is the biggest part of our business, at the moment half the office is in Manchester at Old Trafford for GSOP Live which starts today.

In response to the question, yes we do the hotels and buy ins. All hotel packages for GSOP and WPT are on their sites (which are actually our sites) and are being migrated into Poker Traveller over the next couple of days with the other tours to follow.

It is a fair question, and not a problem to answer.

If you have been to the WSOP with Party, Bwin, 888, Everest, Winamax, Ongame, Paradise Poker, Betfair or Poker Strategy (there are others) in the last few years then the chances are that we facilitated your buy in, and/or provide the accomodation.

In answer to part 2, we are an events, media and marketing company. Poker happens to be the field we work in, although a couple of us are keen amatuers
